"...Open your mouth and eat what I give you. Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe. Moreover He said to me, 'Son of man, eat what you find; eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.' So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll." - Ezekiel 2:8-10; 3:1,2
The message the prophet had been given on the scroll had to become a part of him so he could properly and effectively deliver the message with power and authority. In this day it is no longer enough to just hear good teaching that tickle our ears but like Ezekiel we must become the messages that we speak. We don't just need more revelation, we must become the revelation that we are receiving from God. From head knowledge into an experience...
Here are some short scrolls of revelation out of the word concerning things of the kingdom, the supernatural realm around us, becoming more intimate with God, and other interesting nuggets that concern living like Jesus on this earth. They are not full blown in depth teachings that you would find in our online store but can be used as devotionals and for thought.

“And to the angel of the church of Thyatira write, These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.” Revelation 2:18-20
God has been releasing war on that sexual immoral spirit that has been trying to take out this upcoming generation. Or should I just state the obvious? The war is actually over. He has already disarmed this spirit\'s authority, but the reality is that He is waging war on behalf of us to help us overcome what seems to be a spiritual plague to our generation. There is too much tolerance in our society, and even in our church culture, to the influence of this spirit. We see this influence in the secular media so much and it has been luring a generation into deep bondage. God is releasing fireballs on this earth that are so consumed with Him that nothing of them is left but only the image of Christ and power of Christ in them and surrounding them. (Click to watch fireball word) When a meteor falls from the sky, most of the time, by the time it hits the earth, it has been totally consumed by the fire. This generation will have the most impact on earth when they can be totally consumed by the fire of God. We are to be living walking fireballs or as scripture puts it, ‘living sacrifices.’ Rom. 12:1 It’s interesting how the letter to the church of Thyatira can be applied to us today. Like Martha, we may think we are doing all these good things for Jesus, we have love, faith, good service, and even patience, and we have all these building projects and are expanding our tents and that’s good. But there is just one thing. In many ways, we tolerate the working of this jezebel spirit. I’m not just saying that it’s all in the church, but as a church, we truly tolerate it a little too much. It’s like leaven as we see in 1 Cor. 5:6, “a little bit of leaven leavens the whole lump.” We let it creep in slowly until it grows to the point where it affects the entire body, like a spiritual cancer. I have many times personally seen friends, and respected ministers who let this leaven in to the point where the lump of their life is so infected that it is taken them down.
In Scripture Jezebel is spoken of as both a literal human, from the Old Testament, and as an influencing spirit as we see here in Revelation. We see the workings of Jezebel in person in the book of 1 Kings 18 and how she was killing off all God’s prophets as it states in 1 Kings 18:4. She had been raising up false prophets and was married to King Ahab and was very influential and manipulative in all her ways. Elijah, the prophet, the power-packed man of God that he was, told King Ahab to gather all 850 false prophets that were in Jezebel’s fellowship, to meet him on Mount Carmel. He instructed them to grab two bulls and to call down fire and whoever’s god answered by fire, he was the Lord God. The 450 prophets of Baal began to call on their god but with no response for hours, they continued to cut themselves and call on their god, and still no response. Elijah began to mock them saying their god must be sleeping or maybe his alarm clock didn’t wake him up. It was soon after that Elijah called down fire from the TRUE LORD God and it consumed the entire sacrifice. But this man of God didn’t just stop there. He called rain into reality after there had been a drought for over 3 years and then ran like superman supernaturally ahead of Ahab’s chariot into an area over 20 miles away…WOW!!! This dude had some supernatural superman abilities. But like many of us who have experienced victory in certain areas, the enemy will then come with a counterattack soon after. Soon after, he received one threat from little old Jezzy and it sent the prophet running for his life to the point where he wanted to die. WHAT????? Someone explain this to me…One against eight hundred and fifty false prophets and he wins. He has the power to speak to weather and it changes. He becomes like a prophetic forerunner of Superman and then right after that wants to die because he is afraid of one woman’s threat. This just shows you the controlling power of this spirit. It’s manipulation, control, idolatry, sexual immorality, and witchcraft all crammed into one meal deal.
There’s good news though, the Angel comes and feeds Elijah and he’s back on his feet again. Elijah goes on to Samaria where King Ahab is and prophesies to him, that the dogs will eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. 1 Kings 21:23 Elisha, who was Elijah\'s successor, takes on the responsibility given by the Father to commission one of the sons of the prophets to find Jehu and anoint him as king over Israel. The prophet is instructed by the LORD to declare that the dogs will eat Jezebel at Jezreel. 1Kings 9:10 This could be one of those horror movies - just imagine these killer dogs that eat this woman. You see, though, it was not the dogs though that killed little old Jezzy, it was actually the eunuchs who were in the tower with her when Jehu came into the city to kill her. In 2 Kings 9:32-33, Jehu yells out to Jezebel in her high tower - which is prophetic in that this spirit is a high level spirit that masks itself with beauty and truth to deceive and lure people into the death trap of bondage and destruction. In v. 32, Jehu yells out, \'Who is on my side? Who?\" That is exactly what the LORD is saying in this hour to the Body of Christ, “Who is on My side and will stand with my standard and not tolerate this spirit any longer.”
There were two or three eunuchs in the tower with Jezebel who heeded the call to destroy wickedness. They threw her down from her high place causing a bloody mess. From the description of this event, it truly could be a horror film. The eunuchs in this culture were unworthy to participate in the benefits of the Jews because the law stated that they could not enter the temple because of their defects, which could even be compared to some of the limits imposed when someone was unclean and had leprosy. They were outcasts of society and the eunuchs were usually given tasks such as guarding the women of the king or high-level officials because of their inability to perform sexually. Wow!!! Interesting isn\'t it, that what was used to take out this sexually immoral spirit were the very ones who did not have the ability to participate in this kind of behavior. They were the set-apart ones. God is, I believe, issuing a true clarion call in this hour to be set apart like this and does not want us to tolerate this spirit any longer. Who is on His side concerning this matter? We as a generation, cannot let this spirit\'s influence remain anywhere in our lives as sons and daughters of the Father. When the dogs were released, they devoured the body of little old Jezzy to the point where only her skull, palms, and feet were left. The prophetic word was fulfilled, v.37, \"and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as refuse on the surface of the field, in the plot at Jezreel, so that they shall not say, \"Here lies Jezebel.\" That\'s how it should be when someone walks through the doors of our house, or sits in our car, or hears one of our conversations - there should be no remains or any residue of this influence in our lives. Ephesians 5:3 says, \"Let there be no hint of sexual immorality among you...\" Jesus help us as the Body of Christ in this area. Gives eyes to see where we have tolerated this spirit. Thank you Father for already giving us victory over this in Jesus Christ, but help us to access this and walk it out.

Jul 1, 2008 - Living Out Revelation
{ close }
Jesus’ ultimate goal when He was on the earth besides bringing salvation, healing, and deliverance to a lost world, was to make and teach His disciples to live out everything He spoke to them. That is the true hope and heart of the Father, that after we come into the knowledge of Him that we would live out our lives just like Jesus. Jesus gave us permission to do this when He said in John 14:12, that if we would believe in Him we would do what He did, and that we would do even greater things. What an amazing promise to leave us with. We have the opportunity through the power of the Spirit to walk like He did and see even greater things. When we live out what we know God to be, we act, think, talk, and smell differently; by smell I mean the fragrance of the LORD rests on us in a real tangible way for everyone to notice. Just like Jesus we need to become the message and not just know a message. The Pharisees had it all together in their mind, or so they thought. My God is a God of the heart and not just the mind. What we know must translate into an experience or it’s just head knowledge and its really just useless. For example; if you say you believe that God heals but never pray for the sick, then you don’t really believe, because true faith lies within the heart and when something is truly in the heart of a man or woman it drives them to carry out that belief. You came into the salvation experience by saying in your own words, Romans 10:9. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is LORD and believe in my heart that He was raised from the dead. According to scripture, that is the entry point to the salvation experience if we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth. That is not to say we don’t have to repent of the old nature and receive by faith His forgiveness that He accomplished on the cross. In the same way, we must believe in our heart by faith to walk into our relationship with God, is the same way that belief in the heart to heal the sick has to transpire into some sort of action and then into a manifestation of the very thing you\'re believing for. This is the excitement of kingdom living; simply living out everything we say we believe. James 1:22, says that if we’re hearers only of the word and not doers of it then we’re deceived. Wow!!! This says it in plain English, or Greek, however you want to look at it. If we don’t do what we hear and know to do in the aspect of our faith and His kingdom, then we’ve submitted to a deception. That deception says it’s okay to just have it all up in the old noggin and not actually see a manifestation of anything you say you believe. Holy Spirit wants to take everything you know about God as long as it’s truth, and make it a manifestation in your life. He wants you to become the revelation that you claim to have, and when you do, it releases a greater authority on your word and the influence you carry as a believer. Let me show you one example; (there are many examples all throughout the book of Acts where people couldn’t argue up against the disciples who really knew who they were and lived a kingdom lifestyle). Take John 6:63, “…The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.” Because Jesus was the message and lived the words He spoke, I believe that is what allowed His words to become spirit and life to the listeners. Yes Holy Spirit has to be behind the words, but He is the one who makes all knowledge of God come to life anyway. The words came out of who He was and people felt it (John 7:45,46). He is our first and foremost model to follow in all matters of life. If He did it and walked in it, so can we. Remember, He modeled it for a reason. Let’s as sons and daughters of the most powerful God in the universe, begin to walk as Jesus did and see the knowledge of the glory of the LORD manifest in every area of our lives. Creation is waiting (Rom. 8:19) and so are the angels. (Heb. 1:14)
